Gregg's first blog

Welcome to the first blog on Gregg's Veg.

Gregg Wallace on a markethope you've had a chance to sample some of the great produce available (you're probably better cooks than I am!) but just in case you can access some recipes as well. If you would like a recipe for a certain ingredient then don't hesitate- just drop me a line.
It's Spring now and although I don't mind the Winter I get very very excited about all the new produce coming through. Bunches of beetroot, leeks, and of course the majestic asparagus. If I'm honest, I also like the increased revenue that the Spring brings. For Greengrocers the asparagus season is like striking oil!

On a personal note I'm still single. It's my choice, to be honest it's my second choice! I am taking myself off to a trip to Cuba; I want to sample the food and the rum and I might even have a couple of dance lessons! Can't wait to wobble my pudding belly across the dance floors of Old Havana I might even post some pictures!

Me and John are filming another series of Master Chef right now but I will get strung up if I tell you too much. Just to say that the standard is just incredible. Where do you amateur cooks learn your skills?
