  2. Is your produce organic?
No. Our produce is conventionally grown with minimum use of chemicals. We may occasionally spray in response to a health issue but not for cosmetic purposes, and we never use growth enhancers. We are convinced that our rigorous adherence to best practice produces healthy, delicious food that is quite safe.

  3. Do you stock the same lines all the time?
No. All our produce is seasonal and our stock can change daily, there's nearly always something new. Our website is constantly updated to reflect this.

  4. Isn't it just the same as the stuff my customers can buy in supermarkets and shops?
Definitely not. Growing for restaurants means we select varieties for flavour, not maximum yield, cosmetic appearance or shipping qualities. We grow many old fashioned and Heritage varieties often overlooked by bigger, more commercial growers. A fine example is a lovely variety of beetroot, the Cheltenham Long, that has been grown here continuously for over ninety years.
